"Super charming hotel with a lovely atmosphere and a fabulous dining room. The rooms are a bit dated, but it’s part of the charm. The boiler went out twice while we were there, but luckily not during the times that we needed hot water."

"A classic lodge that must be experienced at least once! The building and grounds are amazing -- you can feel the history and the location is unmatched. Rooms are rustic, perfect for enjoying the nature of Yosemite. After hiking, enjoy the ample space and fireplace in the great room. The food, bar, and service are amazing, but book reservations early, as they are very popular! We will definitely stay again!"

"The Presidential Cottage with the wood burning fireplace and conecting rooms was ideal for our family. Christer on piano during dinner service was especially enjoyable. The 2ft of recent snow made it beautiful and for Horsetail Fall to provide the Firefall we hoped for!"

"The Ahwahnee is Yosemite’s historic crown jewel, built in 1927 and famous for its grand architecture, mix of Art Deco and Native American–inspired design, and even inspiring interior scenes in The Shining. It’s a National Historic Landmark and truly the most iconic place to stay in the park. We arrived at 10am and pre-checked in along with our friends. They got their room by 12:30pm, but ours wasn’t ready until 5pm, which was disappointing for a hotel of this caliber...."

"Reading many reviews we had really low expectations. However we were pleasantly surprised by the warmth and welcoming atmosphere of all the staff. Our room was better than expected, so no complaints there. Our only issue was the quality of the food. While not bad, it was still pretty meh, especially for the prices. Lovely atmosphere in the grand dining room!"
